He was aware that, completing a cinema with the financial support of a producer is merely impossible. So he prepares himself to meet all the required expenses with lot of efforts, hardships and finally he completes it. He was also successful in recovering the fund invested for the project.

Director biography and filmography:
Salim Ahamed is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer. After working for a long time in the Travel & Tourism industry, he joined as a creative director and script writer in a television channel. His directorial debut, Adaminte Makan Abu (2011), fetched him numerous accolades including the Best Feature Film award at the 58th National Film Awards, Kerala State Film awards and was screened at various international film festivals. It was also chosen as India’s official entry to be considered for nomination in the Best Foreign Film category for the 84th Academy Awards. Salim’s second project was titled Kunjananthante Kada starring Mammootty. His third film Pathemari won the Best Feature Film award at the 63rd National Film Awards in 2016. “And the Oskar Goes To” premiered at the India Film Festival of Alberta in June 2019.
