Pallavi is an ambitious young girl. She loves Govind who is highly possessive of her. Pallavi moves to Mumbai to realize her dream of becoming a pilot. One night Govind gives her a surprise visit and it ends in arguments. She decides to leave Govind even though it is painful for her. Govind throws acid on her face in revenge. Pallavi’s life and dreams come shattered down. She comes across a café run by acid attack victims. Pallavi overcomes the emotional obstacles and realizes her dreams.

Director biography and filmography:
Manu Ashokan started his film career as an assistant director in 2007 after completing a post graduate diploma in film production. He has worked in about 21 feature films in various Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. He has served as the first assistant director of late filmmaker Mr. Rajesh Pillai in his Hindi version of ‘Traffic’ a blockbuster Malayalam film. Uyare is his debut feature film with renowned screenwriters Bobby & Sanjay under the banner of S Cube Films produced by Shenuga, Shegan and Sherga. The film was selected at the Indian Panorama 2019 at International Film Festival of India, India International Film Festival, Boston and Washington DC South Asian Film Festival.
