Synopsis:

“Silencer” is a sincere attempt to understand the lives of old age People. So many attempts were done for the same, but “Silencer” differs from those ones, by its peculiarity of looking in to the socio-political climate of which, where the older ones live. Not only persons, but also the surroundings are also being counted, to know the loneliness, they suffer, in depth. Eanasu is a product of a progressive era, but the next generation of him lives in a day to day affair world.

Director biography and filmography:

Born in 1966 at Vallacira in Thrissur District, Kerala, Priyanandanan T R has been involved with the stage from his childhood. His debut film The Weaver bagged 3 state awards and National award for best actor. It also screened at International film festival of Kerala. His second film Pulijanmam won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2006. Other films which has received national as well as International accolades include Sufi Paranja Kadha (The Story That Sufi Told) 2009, Baktha Janagalude Sradhakku (For Believers of God) 2011, Njan Ninnodu Kude Undu (I Am With You) 2015, Pathira Kalam (Nocturnal Times) 2017
