Unda follows the tale of ten-men KAP force assigned for Parliamentary election duty in Chhattisgarh. They are lead by their captain, Mani Sir (Mammootty). Until now, this group of police has only been accustomed to simple tasks such as riding escorts for ministers, cleaning up hospital premises and controlling the traffic near school buildings. Having had to use firearms only during their training period at the police camp, they are now about to go to India’s red corridor.
Director biography and filmography:
Hailing from Ernakulam in Kerala, Khalid Rahman had made his mark already with his debut directorial Anuraga Karikkin Vellam(2016) starring Asif Ali. Rahman began his journey in films as an assistant and associate director and had worked in acclaimed films such as Usthad Hotel, Annayum Rasoolum, North 24 Katham, ABCD, Chandrettan Evideya and Spathamashree Thaskaraha. Both his brothers Shyju Khalid and Jimshi Khalid are well known cinematographers from the Malayalam Film industry.
