And Virus movie documents how the community spirit of a small town in a tiny state of the third world managed to fight the battle and win – on medical, emotional and even political grounds.

Director biography and filmography:
Aashiq Abu is an Indian film director, producer and actor. In his 10 years as an independent filmmaker he has 10 unique films behind him. He earned a distinct space for himself in the Malayalam film industry with his out of the box narratives, perspectives and themes. Aashiq Abu started as an ad filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with Daddy Cool. He is best known for his films Salt N’ Pepper, 22 Female Kottayam, Mayaanadhi and Virus.
