Mayor Arya Rajendran inaugurates the IFFK delegate cell

The 28th edition of IFFK showcases several films that depict resistance against war and violence that holds a significant relevance in the current scenario," said Thiruvananthapuram city Corporation Mayor Arya Rajendran, while inaugurating the delegate cell.
“This is very close to my heart, feels like my second award," remarked Vincy Aloshious, the Best Actress at Kerala State Film Awards 2022, while receiving the first delegate kit of the 28th International Film Festival of Kerala from filmmaker Shyamaprasad.
Renowned filmmaker Shyamaprasad commented that the festival plays a vital role in transforming the cinematic preferences of the new generation audience across the state. "IFFK is a key catalyst for the remarkable transformation observed in the contemporary Malayalam film industry," he added.
The event, presided over by KSCA Chairman Ranjith, also saw the presence of Festival Curator Golda Sellam, KSCA Vice Chairman Premkumar, Secretary C Ajoy, GC Member Prakash Sreedhar, FFSI Keralam’s K G Mohankumar, and Festival Deputy Director H Shaji at Tagore Theatre. Additionally, the gathering enjoyed a chenda percussion performance by members of the Kerala Secretariat Employees Association.
