IFFK Day 4: Movies to Check Out

On Day 4, 67 films will be screened in 14 theatres in various categories. Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' in the Restored Classics category, Iranian film ‘Me, Maryam, the Children and 26 Others’ in the International Competition category, this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award winner Ann Hui's 'Boat People' and The Postmodern Life of My Aunt, Abhijit Mazumdar's 'Body' in the World Cinema category, Sean Baker's 'Anora' in the Festival Favourites section, and Miguel Gomez's 'Grand Tour' are among the 67 films that will be screened in over fifteen categories.
The first screening of 16 films at the IFFK will also be held, including 'The Divorce', 'Young Hearts', 'Viet and Nam' in the World Cinema category, 'The Longest Summer', 'The Freshly Cut Grass' in the Viva el Cine: Latin American Films category, '1:1.6, an Ode to Lost Love' in the  Chiaroscuro : Retrospective of Madhu Ambat category, 'Holy Cow' and 'Sima’s Song' in the Female Gaze category, Hong Sang-soo’s 'Ha Ha Ha' in the Refracted Realities: The Existential Mindscapes of Hong Sang-soo category, and Khandahar in the Celebrating Shabana Azmi category.
Malayalam films screening on Day 4 will include Appuram, Mukhakannadi, Victoria, Kishkindha Kaandam, Velicham Thedi, and Saudi Vellakka.
