Dr. Abhilash Babu
Dr. Abhilash Babu was born in 1991 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He has his graduation, post graduation and PhD in English literature, PG Certificate and Diploma in teaching of English and Diploma in Screen play and direction. He has published two anthologies of poems in Malayalam, Platoyude Koodu and Karikal Kathanugayikal. He is also the screenplay writer of the Malayalam movie Viraagam, 2017. Aalokam: Ranges of Vision (2023) is his debut film as a director
Synopsis
An inquisitive man tries to document the life of two couples. What led him to take the step, as he says, is that he feels a certain kind of abnormality in their choice of life partners. Since Naveen and Dhanya being the son and daughter of Suneer and Nalini respectively, who are the first couple, the documentary director feels the former couple's living together is against societal norms.
