"Nora Martirosyan is an Armenian filmmaker and visual artist born in 1973 in Yerevan, Armenia. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Yerevan and later at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. Martirosyan has been living in France and teaching cinema and video at the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux since 2015. Her work often explores political and social themes, and she has directed several short and medium-length films. Her first feature film, ""Should the Wind Drop"" (2020), is set in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh and has received critical acclaim. Martirosyan's unique storytelling and artistic vision have made her a notable figure in contemporary cinema3."
