Emanuel Pârvu is a Romanian film director and screenwriter. He began his career in the film industry as a screenwriter and assistant director. Pârvu made his feature film debut as a director with "Stuff and Dough" (2001), which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. He has since directed several critically acclaimed films, including "Tertium Non Datur" (2006) and "Medal of Honor" (2009). Throughout his career, Pârvu has received numerous awards and nominations for his work, including several Romanian Film Awards and a nomination for the European Film Award.
Adi is spending the summer in his home village in the Danube Delta. One night he is brutally attacked on the street, the next day his world is turned upside-down. His parents no longer look at him as they did, and the seeming tranquility of the village starts to crack.
