Nelson Carlo de Los Santos Arias, born in 1985 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a talented director and writer. He is known for his work on films such as "Pepe" (2024), "Cocote" (2017), and "Santa Teresa y otras historias" (2015). De Los Santos Arias studied creative writing and media art at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and later pursued film studies in Buenos Aires and experimental film at the Edinburgh College of Art2. His first film, "She Said He Walks," won a BAFTA Award in 2009.
