Mahesh Bhatt, born on September 20, 1948, in Bombay (now Mumbai), India, is a prominent Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter known for his significant contributions to Hindi cinema. ome of Bhatt's most acclaimed films include "Saaransh" (1984), "Naam" (1986), "Daddy" (1989), "Aashiqui" (1990), "Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin" (1991), "Sadak" (1991), and "Zakhm" (1998). hroughout his career, Bhatt has received numerous awards, including four National Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards. His film "Saaransh" was India's official entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1984.
Synopsis
The semi-autobiographical film was written by Mahesh Bhatt about his extramarital relationship with actress Parveen Babi.
