Chakib Taleb-Bendiab is an Algerian writer, director, and musician. He has gained recognition for his work on numerous films and is known for his contributions to the British spy show "Go Dark." Taleb-Bendiab has won several awards at global festivals for his scripts and short films, including "Sang Froid" (2013) and "Black Spirit" (2018), an African Samurai tale set in the Sahara. He is set to release his first feature film, "Algiers," which will represent Algeria at the 97th Oscars in 2025 in the Best Foreign Film category.
