Hadrah Daeng Ratu
Hadrah graduated from the Institut Kesenian Jakarta in Film and Television and began her career with the short Sabotase (2009), which won Best Short Film at the Festival Film Indonesia. She later worked as assistant director on films such as Serdadu Kumbang (2011) and Soegija (2012), before establishing herself as a director with features like Make Money (2013), Heart Beat (2015), and Super Didi (2016). Her romantic duology Mars Met Venus (2017) was followed by ventures into horror with Jaga Pocong (2018) and Malam Jumat: The Movie (2019). More recent works include A Perfect Fit (2021), Pantaskah Aku Berhijab (2024), Assalamualaikum Baitullah (2025), and the upcoming Musuh Dalam Selimut (2026).
Synopsis
Haunted by the childhood trauma of witnessing her possessed mother murder her parents, Yuli survives but is branded a cursed outsider. Growing up under the roof of her father's second wife, Ambar, and enduring years of abuse, her life changes when Ambar whispers a final secret. Fueled by a desperate desire for vengeance, Yuli performs a dark, forbidden ritual. As the dark magic takes hold, her world and those around her begin to terrifyingly unravel.
