Rusudan Glurjidze, born on July 21, 1972, in Tbilisi, Georgia, is a Georgian film director, screenwriter, and producer. She graduated in French Language and Literature from Tbilisi State University and studied Film Directing and Screenwriting at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University under Giorgi Shengelaia2. Glurjidze began her career working in advertising and at the Georgian Public Broadcaster, creating musical and commercial clips. Since 2007, she has been a producer and art director at Cinetech Film Production Company. Her debut feature film, "House of Others" (2016), won the Grand Prix at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and was Georgia's candidate for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.
During Russia's mass deportation of Georgians, Medea, a young Georgian woman, visits a bargain-priced apartment in St. Petersburg. The catch: it comes with its elderly owner, Vadim Vadimich. Undeterred by the unusual arrangement, Medea agrees to a month-long probation, eager to start anew.
