Ashkan Ashkani is an acclaimed Iranian filmmaker, best known for his prolific work as a Director of Photography. With a career spanning over two decades, Ashkani has lent his visual expertise to numerous award-winning films, including Mohammad Rasoulof's "There is no evil," "Man of integrity," and "Manuscripts." He has worked on more than 20 feature films, 40 documentaries, and 60 short films, establishing himself as a sought-after collaborator in the Iranian film industry. Suicide is not always due to depression or losing one’s joy for life. Sometimes, the reason is a major and explicit protest against socio-political conditions within a country. After her husband suicide, she spends the whole day in disbelief, fear and doubt. Searching for a glimpse of hope, she visits friends and colleagues and stays out all night long in order to delay facing the reality. she must confront her own destiny and decide whether to give in to despair or stand up and fight for a better future.
