Diego Lerman, born in Buenos Aires in 1976, is an Argentine filmmaker known for socially conscious dramas blending intimacy and politics. His debut Suddenly (2002) was followed by Meanwhile (2006), The Invisible Eye (2010), Refugiado (2014), A Sort of Family (2017), and The Substitute (2022), each reflecting his commitment to social critique.
