Nidhi Saxena is an Indian filmmaker known for her poetic, meditative explorations of human vulnerability and existential themes. Trained at FTII with a background in sculpture and fine arts, she has received both the Asian Cinema Fund and a Biennale College Cinema grant. Her debut feature Sad Letters of an Imaginary Woman premiered at Busan 2024, and her second, Secret of a Mountain Serpent, is set to premiere at Venice 2025. She has also led storytelling initiatives with the UN Population Fund and authored two children’s books, Chidiya Ud and Bulbul-e Paristan.
