Jia's films have received critical acclaim and international recognition, including winning the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival for "Still Life" in 2006. Jia Zhangke's contributions to cinema have earned him numerous awards, including the Leopard of Honour at the Locarno Film Festival in 2010 and the Carrosse d'Or lifetime achievement award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015.
