Director's bio
Hungarian filmmaker Gábor Reisz, a graduate of ELTE Faculty of Humanities (Film) and the University of Theatre and Film Arts (Budapest), gained acclaim with his debut 'For Some Inexplicable Reason' (2014). During the Cannes Film Festival's Residence program, he developed 'Bad Poems' (2018), winning 16 prizes, including Best Hungarian Film of 2018.

Synopsis
Gábor Reisz’s Explanation for Everything is an invigorating social satire that has an elegant narrative structure which pieces together a layered mosaic of personnel and political life.
