Adhithya Baby (23) is a proficient thespian who hails from Kasargod, Kerala. She completed her Masters in Performance Arts (MPA) from Pondicherry University. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts with a specialization in acting from the esteemed School of Drama in Thrissur. Years of intensive training, deeply rooted in the aesthetics of theatre, have fortified her with a unique and exceptional craft in both acting and directing. Her directorial debut, "Cupid Saw the Star", go its official selection in IFFK’24 in ‘Malayalam cinema today section’ and met with positive reviews. Additionally, she portrayed the leading female character in "Neelamudi," which was screened at the 2023 IFFK to the acclamation of critics. She has also played the lead role in the movie 'Ambrosia'.
Synopsis
'Ambrosia', a elite restaurant divided by a single wall, workers toil in silence like slaves, while elites feast on “the gods’ favourite food.” One woman among the slaves adds a mysterious liquid to the eternal dish 'Ambrosia', triggering chaos among the guests. Emotions erupt, relationships collapse. As the illusion shatters, the enslaved rise and walk out. Ambrosia is a tale of rupture, rebellion, and reclaiming voice in a world built on silence.
