At the age of 15, Jean-Claude MONOD wrote his 1st feature film script, les Djinns, selected for the Final of the Victor Hugo Competition (with Philippe Le Guay and Éric Barbier), which allows him to make an excerpt (9mn, 35mm). After graduating from the École Normale Supérieure, he then branched off into studies in philosophy that led him to the CNRS, where he obtained the medal bronze medal in 2013. At the same time, after having been 3rd assistant director on Safi FAYE's feature film, Mossane (1996), selected for the Directors' Fortnight directors at Cannes, he directed three short films: Double (2000), with Nathalie BOUTEFEU, Congress, with Philippe MORIER-GENOUD and Scali DELPEYRAT (2004), based on Vétérinaires, by Bernard Lamarche-Vadel, and The Zoographer (2006), with François CHATTOT, Michèle MORETTI and Eric BERGER, broadcast on France 3, TPS, in various festivals ...
